OppoRally Midwest 2019 is officially happening!

Yes you read that right, I’m jumping on the crazy train and joining the OppoRally Party. No details yet, but it shall be held in either the spring or fall of 2019 in the Greater Cincinnati area. Will be polling for feedback later this year. Any thoughts or suggestions, please feel free to drop me a line in the comments below.

What did you spot in Indiana?

I kind of want to lead a run down toward Memphis like the one I took up from Austin that avoided 71 . But none of you would be able to keep up with me. My average speed through that leg was around 87MPH.

It’s been a long time - 28 years - but I lived in Dayton O for a while.

There were a lot of good roads east, South, and west from me. I recall some night runs to Bloomington IN that were quite fun. Nothing at 87 mph though!

Let’s just say t here’s a reason I took the TN/KY route instead of the IN route. Nice car, fun road, the rural guys will find some excuse to get paid by the ‘rich asshole.’ (Boy don’t I wish I was.)

Yeah. Most of the ‘back country’ roads in OH and KY are in really good shape (or so atrocious you already know to avoid at all costs in anything short of a rock crawler.)

But I still would not recommend anybody drive like I do. In-state tags and a popularly cool car (or true sleeper) are basically a license to speed in any state.
